Request account deletion
StepSense Gold allows users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data. This page is provided as the external deletion route for users and app store review teams.
For App Store and Google Play acceptance, users should also be able to initiate deletion inside the app itself. This page covers the external website route.
How to delete an account
- Use the in-app account deletion option when available in account settings.
- If you cannot access the app, email contact@stepsensegold.com with the subject line “StepSense Gold Account Deletion”.
- You can also call 072 513 9042 if you need help confirming your request.
What to include in your request
- The email address or username linked to the account.
- The organization or company name, if your access came through a workplace program.
- Any details needed to identify the correct account safely.
What happens after a deletion request
- The account will be reviewed and matched to the correct user record.
- Account data will be deleted or de-identified unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance reasons.
- Where required, shared content or records may be retained in a limited form if law or legitimate compliance obligations require it.
